Have you ever heard of UV wands? I never had till my wife brought one home. I have to admit, at the time she first showed it to me I thought she was crazy. I didn’t think we needed anything special to disinfect our house and I thought maybe she was wasting our money. But after she started using it I noticed a real difference and now I’m glad we have it.
If you don’t know what UV is, it is a spectrum of light that is not visible to the naked human eye. We receive a certain amount of UV (ultraviolet) light from the sun, but the Earth’s atmosphere screens out most of it. That is good because UV light exposure in large doses can be harmful to living things.
That may sound scary but take a minute to think about it. If you could just shine a light on your bed or pillow and immediately kill all the germs on it, wouldn’t that be handy? What about when you stay at a hotel? Yeah, that’s how it works. UV wands are handheld devices that you can use to shine UV light on things to kill germs and disinfect them.
I didn’t think I suffered from allergies of any kind but I will admit that once my wife started disinfecting our home with the wand, I could notice an immediate improvement in my health.
